DISKLAVIER plus – workshop
03/2013 Gaudeamus – NL
Four young European composers have been commissioned to write a new work for disklavier and (live-) electronics:

All composers will come together in Utrecht for a 2-days workshop (18th/ 19th March 2013) in which Dutch composers, who have broad experience with working with disklavier and with electronics, will train them and guide them in the process of making their new works.

Premieres of the pieces by Ville Raasakka, Vito Zuraj and Ji Youn Kang will take place in September 2013 at Gaudeamus Muziekweek (NL) and be performed again in July 2014 at Time of Music Festival (FI) and in Autumn 2015 at Royaumont Foundation (FR).
The pieces by Steffen Krebber and Lukas Wiegerink will be premiered in August 2014 at the 47th International Summer Course for New Music in Darmstadt (DE).
