Raphaël Cendo, new piece for choir, ensemble and electronics – World Premiere

Raphaël Cendo has been commissioned to write a new piece for choir, ensemble and electronics for the German Festival for Contemporary Music Donaueschinger Musiktage in 2013.

For this new composition including new technologies especially for sound spatialisation, Raphaël Cendo works with the German choir Vokalensemble Stuttgart and the German ensemble musikFabrik Köln conducted by Marcus Creed.

The piece called Registre des lumières will be premiered on 19th October 2013 in Donaueschingen. See a photo taken during the rehearsals at Bartok Saal in Donaueschingen here:

It will be performed again on 24th Ocotober 2013 in Cologne (DE) (WDR-Funkhaus am Wallrafplatz).

In 2014, the piece will be performed again on 14th June in Paris (FR), in the framework of IRCAM ManiFeste-2014 (Cité de la Musique),

and on 1st October in Strasbourg at the occasion of the Festiva Musica.
