Raphaël Cendo, new piece for cello

The young French composer Raphaël Cendo was commissioned to write a piece for cello and electronics, inspired by Brian Ferneyhough’s masterpiece “Time and motion study II”, which has been presented on 22nd September 2012 to the audience, together with its reference-piece, interpreted by the young cello-player Arne Deforce.

Further performances of the piece are programmed in October and in December 2012 in Belgium, in the Netherlands and in March 2013 in Switzerland and in June 2014 in Paris, France.
