Arditti and Pierre-Laurent Aimard Masterclasses + Concert // Project with electronics

Pierre-Laurent Aimard is Artistic Director of the Aldeburgh Festival. This project offers four composers the chance to collaborate with young pianists at Aldeburgh Music, preparing a new work for solo piano, with Pierre-Laurent Aimard as tutor, and studying solo piano works by Helmut Lachenmann. There will also be the opportunity to join classes on extended string techniques given by the Arditti String Quartet.  These pianists and composers will then re-convene at IRCAM later in June for further development work and performances.
